Unlimited Joost Invites ... finally

It looks like the unlimited Joost invites arrived. It looks like National Geographic is available too! I would be start sending out invites to everyone who have left me messages here and here. You could also send me an email if you like to have an invite.

It looks like Joost will be open to public very soon. With more advertisers coming on board, hopefully Joost would be able to get us more content.

Joost Invites

I just saw this on MacNN via Digg,

Following a limited trial run, Joost today announced that it had officially launched its self-titled Internet TV service ... Crucially, the company adds, the beta is now far more open: existing testers now have unlimited invites, ensuring that almost anyone can try the service through a friend.

Apparently, not all beta testers have unlimited invites yet. I would send out to people who have left their email address in my previous post as soon as I got them. Or send me an email to avoid spam ...

At the meantime, check out MG's blog. I think he still got some Joost invites left.

My Joost Experience & Joost Invite Giveaway

About 2 weeks ago, I have received a Joost beta key to test out this online TV startup. I have spent some time with it and I would like to share what I found about this free online TV.

1. Decent pictures quality
2. Speed is okay most of the time
3. Lots of different genre
4. More TV programs coming (Joost just striked a major deal with CBS)
5. No people is using their "Chat" (I haven't seen anyone using the chat room)
6. Some channels listed on the Joost website can't be found in the program (I'm still waiting on National Geographic ...)

Overall, I think Joost looks promising and I really enjoyed some of their programs like Fifth Gear and Gamestar.

I have two Joost invite that I could give away to my readers if they would like to try it out and blog about it. So, please let me know if you are interested...
