Since Google's Blogger doesn't have a cool backup plugin like the Wordpress, here is how Google Blogger blog backup their content in case of crashes.
Thanks to Chris from Blog-Op, suggests using Google Reader to backup your blog. You can backup your blog by adding your main feed and your blog's comment feed to your Google Reader.
Google reads and records all of these independently of your blog, so even if your webhost goes up in flames, the text of the post and comments remains in Google Reader.
After you have done that, you are safe from letting down by your server or computer because your blog posts and comments are saved. Other than doing this for backup purposes, it would also give your feeder count a little boost as well!
If you don't know what is your main feed and comment feed, you can found out from here.

Thanks for the link Andy, hope it's useful.
I find GR saves about 3 months worth of posts, and about 2 of comments, so it's worth cutting & pasting the contents into a word document every so often to make a regular backup. It saves your photos as well.
Nice post Andy , i think this tip will help me because i am transferring one of my blog to another place .
I have added many RSS feeds that I read in Google Reader, it has actually saved posts that were in 2006 :)
