I have come across a couple of nice reviews of StumbleUpon from Kyle, Baron and Gregg. I am hearing lots of good things about it. There is a little learning curve when I first started but it is not too bad.
I haven't been spending too much time on it yet, but I have been stumbling on the "online-games". Most of the games are pretty decent and I was hooked to these web games like Desktop Tower Defence, Curve Ball (Warning: they are pretty addictive!)
The other day I was just checking my about page on SU, and it reads "I am a 26 year-old guy from Ontario, Canada". So, I wondered what is the demographics of StumbleUpon and I found out that it is skewed toward the 35+. I guess it is a more mature web2.0 site?

StumbleUpon is an interesting concept, because it is a site, but it does most of its work through the Toolbar extension/add-on.
I'm 28 and enjoy the service, but I can see a lot of 35+ using it. I think it requires some patience to use, which is (generally speaking) usually lacking in the MySpace/Facebook generation.
ARGH! I've just "wasted" 3 hours playing "Desktop Tower Defence"
As for StumbleUpon... I've tried it in the past but it's not something I'd use on a regular basis... definitely an interesting concept which appears to work too.
Curveball is the best! I've only been able to get to level 8 though :(
StumbleUpon does seem like a more mature community to me as well.. It's great though. I need to mess around with it some more
kyle: yah, StumbleUpon is interesting and definitely has a different taste compare to MySpace.
zigire: did you check out the maze that the other players created? :P
gregg: the super curve bonus is crazy!
