Good news for online publishers/blog owners, more business aware of the importantness of getting online for brand building and awareness. Clickz reported,
"Online ad revenues continued to grow at a quick pace in Q4 2006, reaching nearly $4.8 billion, according to numbers released today by The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and its independent research partner PricewaterhouseCoopers. It's the highest reported quarter yet for the industry, with revenues up 32 percent over Q4 '05. The report anticipates total 2006 revenues, to be revealed next month, to clock in at $16.8 billion." The rising revenues are a result of a general boost in the cost of online advertising and related services. Small blog owners should be able to leverage off the increase of the online advertising spent by selling ads/links. As an online marketer/advertiser, it means more competitions are getting on board and advertising expenses would continue to increase.
